Summary: The Senior Network Engineer is tasked with leading network operations, resolving complex incidents, and acting as an architect for network projects while optimizing performance. This role involves developing automation solutions, maintaining documentation, and providing advanced support for data centers and site integrations. The engineer will also manage advanced network onboarding projects and enhance operational efficiency through automation. Proficiency in various networking technologies and tools is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the resolution of complex network incidents during business hours and on-call.
- Manage and implement advanced network onboarding projects as part of Business-As-Usual operations.
- Develop automation solutions to enhance network operations efficiency.
- Maintain documentation related to network operations and projects.
- Provide advanced support for data centers and site integrations.
- Utilize deep understanding of IT infrastructures to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Design, implement, and automate network operations and reporting.
Key Skills:
- Cisco technologies (Routing, WIFI, Switching, Nexus/ACI)
- ThousandEyes experience
- Network engineering
- Automation development
- Tufin specific experience
- Deep proficiency with Cisco Firepower and Checkpoint firewalls
- Experience with SDN, SDWAN, and SASE
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
