Summary: The Senior Network Engineer role in London involves a combination of business-as-usual support and project work, focusing on data centre networking technologies, wireless networks, and security measures. The position requires SC Clearance and offers a hybrid working pattern with 2-3 days on-site. Candidates must possess a minimum of CCNP certification and extensive experience with various Cisco technologies. The contract is for an initial duration of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide BAU support and engage in project work related to networking technologies.
• Work with data centre networking technologies, wireless networks, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Utilize networking monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service.
• Achieve and maintain SC Clearance as required for the role.

Key Skills:

• Cisco certified (CCNP minimum).
• Extensive experience with Cisco ACI SDN & MSO.
• Broad skills across Cisco technologies including Nexus, Catalyst, ASA, etc.
• Strong experience with wireless networking and F5 Load Balancing.
• Firewall experience including CheckPoint and Cisco Firepower.
• Software Defined Networking experience.
• Strong understanding of ITIL methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with scripting languages (desirable).
