Summary: The role of Salesforce/nCino Technical Lead involves driving the design, development, and implementation of scalable banking applications on the Salesforce platform and nCino ecosystem. The candidate is expected to have a strong background in commercial banking and credit life cycle management, along with hands-on experience in Salesforce development and nCino configurations. This position is contract-based and requires a hybrid working arrangement in London. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong programming skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of nCino banking solutions.
- Configure nCino elements including UI Groups, Routes, Screens, Product Catalogs, Packages, Collateral, Covenants, etc.
- Translate business requirements into high-level design and working prototypes.
- Write and maintain Apex Classes, Triggers, LWC, and Visualforce pages.
- Strong experience with nCino Loan Origination and Core Banking Services (Deposits, Lending, Digital Banking).
- Proven expertise in the end-to-end credit life cycle in commercial or business banking.
- Solid programming skills in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, data formats (JSON/XML), and integration design.
- Understanding of data structures, ETL, and data modelling concepts.
- Implement no-code/low-code solutions using Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
- Develop REST/SOAP API integrations with both cloud and on-prem systems.
- Implement OAuth and authentication protocols for secure third-party integrations.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold Salesforce coding standards.
- Collaborate across tech teams to integrate with enterprise applications.
- Maintain comprehensive code documentation and develop test classes for all custom code.
- Utilize version control and release tools like GitHub and Copado.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and advocate best practices.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibit strong experience in agile ways of working.
- A degree in computer science or a related field is desirable but not essential.
