You will be part of the team working closely with government and partners across the sector to launch the new programme as well as deliver against existing commitments. We are looking for individuals excited and motivated by the opportunity to shape future delivery, and ways of working, as Homes England moves to a more regional and place-based operating model Working in a team with Ania Anderson, our Head of Compliance, and a motivated team, the Senior Manager will play a critical role in Affordable Housing compliance audit. You will be joining our small, friendly, and talented team who are committed to making positive change in how compliance is delivered. The Compliance Audit is a crucial component of the Affordable Housing Grant delivery model. This role will focus on maintaining a solid foundation for delivering the Compliance Audit programme and assurance processes. The postholder will ensure that the comprehensive audit checklist is consistently upheld and that relevant sanction processes are defined in accordance with Homes England's risk strategy. Ania is dedicated to delivering a first-class customer service, resolving matters informally wherever possible, taking an innovative and creative approach to compliance audit issues. The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects around strengthening AHG assurance framework . A bit about you… Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders on compliance, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate. You'll be comfortable supporting the function with complex issues, aiming to resolve them innovatively and flexibly. You need to be a strong influencer, a good communicator and be able to build excellent stakeholder relationships, often with senior leaders. You will be a strategic thinker and have a great understanding of AHG delivery processes and systems. You will be proficient in analysing and summarising information, using sound judgement to make recommendations that improve effectiveness of assurance approaches.
