About the Childcare Lawyer Role:
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a locum Childcare Lawyer to join a local authority based in the West Midlands. The role will be for an initial 3 month period with a strong possibility of this being extended.
Key Responsibilities of the Childcare Lawyer role:
- To act as a legal advisor
- Advise upon and conduct proceedings relating to the care and protection of children
- To provide legal advice and support services to clients
- To carry a caseload of predominantly public childcare care proceedings
- To advocate, when necessary, at the family courts once per week
The role will be a hybrid working arrangement whereby you will need to attend family courts in the West Midlands at in-person hearings on a weekly basis.
