This is an exciting opportunity for any Senior Linux Engineer (HPC) to join a team of skilled and experienced consultants and seek to identify improvements and efficiencies, while utilising new technologies and existing tools as the organisation takes on one of it's biggest bodies of work.

Responsibilities/Skillset

• Focus on the build, assembly, and provisioning, of a high-performance Linux estate, with optimising cutting-edge compute, storage, network, and data centre technology.
• Specifically, interested in individuals with strong automated build and provisioning skills on bare metal, at scale, using Packer, Cobbler, Ironic, Pixie and the Open Stack.
• Optimise storage performance using high-speed SSDs, NVMe drives, and custom data structures tailored for HPC data access
• This is on a rolling contract basis with a hybrid work pattern
