Summary: The Senior Learning and Development Consultant role involves collaborating with various teams to deliver comprehensive learning and development programs, particularly focused on enhancing data skills within the organization. This position is part of a 12-month fixed-term contract and requires a hybrid working arrangement. The consultant will play a key role in developing the Data Academy, ensuring that training offerings align with organizational data principles. The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement and the delivery of impactful training initiatives to drive cultural and behavioral change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess learning and development needs.
- Manage the L&D lifecycle for the Data Academy, including designing and delivering training programs.
- Coordinate with data specialists to create and execute learning offerings on data literacy and management.
- Lead initiatives to identify necessary knowledge and skills for data specialists.
- Support the council's digital transformation through enhanced data skills across the organization.
