Summary: The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audit assurance engagements across all Council functions and services, ensuring adherence to the approved audit plan. This role involves reviewing test evidence, developing risk-based audit programs, and preparing high-quality reports with actionable recommendations. The auditor will also communicate issues proactively and coordinate post-audit reviews with management.
Key Responsibilities:
