Summary: The Senior Accountant role in North Warrington is a 6-month fixed-term contract focused on maintaining accurate general ledger and management accounts within a construction/engineering company. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct accounting activities related to the maintenance of complete and accurate general ledger and management accounts.
• Process information within the RTR area in line with Group Timetable and SSC SLAs.
• Deliver timely and accurate information to Group Finance, Head of Tax, and Finance Business partners for reporting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support teams/people management and address all queries, including audit queries.
• Perform other assigned General Ledger tasks under the direction of the RTR Manager.

Key Skills:

• Qualified accountant with a progressive record of success (ACCA/CIMA etc.).
• Strong analytical/planning skills and a solid accounting/control background.
• Record to Report experience.
• Experience working with various functions at different levels (commercial, operations, marketing, IT, etc.).
• Strong communication and influencing skills for effective networking across the business.
• Proven experience in producing high-quality written communications and presentations for senior management.
