Summary: The role of Senior Engineer Automation/SAS involves overseeing deliverables within studies and execution projects, including estimation and planning of work scope. The engineer will be responsible for creating design documentation and technical solutions for SAS, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications. The position requires significant experience in engineering tasks related to automation and SAS within modification projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for deliverables within the discipline in studies and execution projects
• Estimation and planning of work scope within the discipline
• Develop design documentation and technical solutions for SAS
• Create state diagrams, SCDs, sequence diagrams, HMI sketches, FS, IO lists, signal lists, and similar
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation according to customer requirements and specifications, and update customer databases with metadata
• Job set and prepare work documentation for installation
• Package responsible for SAS, prepare documentation for SAS suppliers, and collaborate with and provide technical follow-up for control system suppliers
• Follow up and collaborate with subcontractors
• Prepare change documentation for control systems
• Collaborate with other disciplines internally in the project and with the customer

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's/master's degree in relevant fields
• Or technical college with 12 years of relevant experience in engineering tasks
• Fluency in Norwegian and English
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in engineering in modification projects
• Experience working independently in multidisciplinary modification projects with responsibility for detailed engineering of automation/SAS deliveries
• Experience from offshore surveys is an advantage
• Good knowledge of project execution model in ARIS is desirable
• Experience in SAS design with ABB and Siemens as suppliers
• Experience in modification projects related to turbine/compressor control is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office
• FSE with first aid and practical CPR
• Basic EX (classroom)
• Offshore certificate is an advantage but not a requirement
• Experience with Microstation, STID, ProCoSys, SAP, ARIS, Woodward GAP is desirable
