Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing HR Shared Services team, ensuring timely and efficient operational delivery
  • Drive a customer-first culture and oversee query resolution, Workday processing, and mass uploads
  • Oversee restructures, TUPEs, and reorganisations, including risk mitigation, legal compliance, and communications
  • Partner with HRBPs, legal, payroll, and business leads to implement change smoothly
  • Support projects such as HR tooling implementation and process improvements
  • Review team performance, capacity, and capability to align with evolving business needs
  • Advise stakeholders on HR matters related to organisational change

Key Skills:

  • Strong HR operations knowledge and experience managing shared service environments
  • Expertise in employment law and complex change management (restructures, TUPE, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and people leadership capabilities
  • Proficient with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
  • Demonstrated success leading organisational change programmes
  • Experience managing international HR teams and shared services operations
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent desirable

Role Purpose We're looking for a Senior HR Operations Manager to join our People Services team in Leeds on a fixed term basis. This role leads our HR Shared Services Centre and Change Management team, overseeing operational delivery and complex organisational change initiatives, including restructures, TUPE transfers, and reorganisations. You'll partner closely with global teams, ensuring activity is legally compliant, people-centred, and aligned to business goals.
