Summary: The Senior HR Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex HR datasets to derive insights that support business objectives within a leading UK insurance company. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, data modeling, and creating visualizations using Power BI. The analyst will also mentor junior team members and communicate findings through compelling narratives. Previous experience with HR data and Workday is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights, with a focus on HR data.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and testing.
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis, visualisation, and storytelling.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI, including data preparation, modeling, and visualization.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent storytelling abilities.
• Experience with API integration for data extraction from HR cloud applications, including Workday.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification is preferred.
