Summary: The Senior Finance Analyst RTR role at DHL involves managing accounting processes for various operations within the finance function. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accounting processes for a range of sites, customers, or functions, including month-end and reconciliations.
- Engage regularly with site operations teams, reporting teams, and shared services for process completion.
- Build deep business knowledge to support decision-making.
- Maintain period-end and year-end closing schedules.
- Ensure adherence to finance processes and timely report production.
- Provide updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion and issue resolution.
- Deliver processes to agreed KPI requirements and support performance management.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in accounting processes.
- Manage individual workflow to meet deadlines.
- Perform ad hoc tasks and operational admin activities as required.
Key Skills:

DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:
- Perform accounting processes in scope for a range of sites, customers or functions as directed like month end, reconciliations (i.e. excel work, analysis, trend spotting etc).
- Regular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, BU FC's and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes
- Build deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision making
- Effectively maintain period end and year end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope
- Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production
- Provide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalations
- Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management
- Support change programmes
- Ensure all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed identifying continuous improvement opportunities to the Reporting Manager
- Manage individual workflow ensuring agreed deadlines are met
- Ad hoc tasks as required
- Any other purchasing or operational admin related activities as required by the Controller or Manager
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements
2-3 Years experience of performing accounting in a logistics or similar industry would be a preference
Experience of using Oracle Cloud would be a preference
