Summary: The Cash & Banking Specialist role within the Finance department focuses on operational delivery of banking activities, policy implementation, and participation in enterprise-wide projects. The position requires a professional qualification in finance and significant experience in operational finance, particularly in cash and banking. The specialist will also engage with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving. This is a fixed-term contract for one year based in Cambridge, England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all banking related activities across all FSSC entities, including bank interactions, payment query management, and managing the company card application process.
- Support implementation of process changes aligned with business strategy and ensure appropriate process documentation for AR/AP/R2R teams.
- Act as an ad hoc representative for Operational Finance in various Mundipharma initiatives and support Group-led initiatives impacting transactional finance.
Key Skills:
- Professional Qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, CMIIA, CIA) or equivalent.
- At least 2 years’ experience leading an AR and cash and banking team.
- Experience with process improvement and working in an agile change environment.
- Strong influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive change and improve team dynamics.
- Proven ability to deliver to deadlines and work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Delivery of Banking activities
- Perform all banking related activities across all FSSC entities: Bank interactions (ops queries), bank payment query management, assistance in managing company card application process, payment run process, manual and urgent payments processes, manage DD process, bank statements process.
- Providing assistance to queries for AR/AP/R2R finance teams (OneFinance)
- Key problem solver for the BAU Banking activities
- Policy, Process and Control documentation
- Support implementation of process changes that are clearly aligned with the business strategy
- Ensures that the AR/AP/R2R team have appropriate process documentation.
- Support with the roll out of policies and procedures, working with the relevant GPOs and Finance leadership.
- Implements best practice processes across AR/AP/R2R
- Finance in enterprise-wide Projects:
- Ad hoc representative / delegate for Operational Finance in various Mundipharma initiatives led by other functions (compliance, legal, etc.)
- Support where applicable on Group led initiatives which impact transactional finance and ensure benefits and efficiencies are not at risk or compromised
What you’ll bring

Communication & Working Relationships
- Finance Director FSSC Operations - Regular interaction with the Finance Director FSSC Operations. Discussing issues and resolutions and providing updates on any C&B activities, including queries and issue management root cause analysis
- Global Finance user community - Liaise with wider finance teams across the organization. Help during periods of escalation to support resolving issues. Providing guidance and care where needed.
- Embedded Finance Teams - Work closely with Embedded Finance Teams within the scope of the FSSC to help deliver actions in line with the One ERP Project and FSSC transformation. This might include stakeholders across Supply Chain, HR and IT.
