Summary: The Senior Estates Surveyor will lead the management of a diverse property portfolio in a public sector environment, ensuring compliance and sustainability while maximizing rental income. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of a complex property portfolio, ensuring compliance, safety, and sustainability.
- Maximise rental income and manage commercial estates effectively.
- Oversee acquisitions, disposals, asset valuations, and lease management.
- Deliver key property-related projects and support asset management strategy development.
- Line manage and mentor a small team of property professionals.
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, supporting collaborative service delivery.
- Contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and the continuous improvement of estate functions.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in estate or property management within the public sector.
- Strong understanding of property law, governance, and strategic asset planning.
- Experience managing complex projects, budgets, and teams.
- Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) preferred or working towards.
