Summary: The SAP DRC Expert role at London Strategy involves leading a large-scale compliance implementation project across Europe and Brazil, requiring extensive SAP expertise and regulatory knowledge. This client-facing position demands the ability to analyze compliance requirements and customize SAP DRC solutions to meet statutory obligations. The expert will also provide guidance to junior consultants and ensure smooth project execution through collaboration with various teams. The role is integral to supporting clients in navigating complex tax compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP DRC solutions across multiple legal entities in Brazil and the EU
  • Analyze local compliance requirements (e.g., e-invoicing, SAF-T, VAT reporting) and translate them into system functionalities
  • Partner with tax, finance, and IT teams to ensure DRC solutions meet statutory and operational requirements
  • Customize and extend DRC functionality to support client-specific business processes
  • Conduct system testing, UAT support, and end-user training to ensure a smooth go-live
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis, security, and integration teams to enable seamless data flow and ensure security compliance
  • Monitor project milestones, ensure timely delivery, and manage issue resolution in coordination with the project manager
  • Stay updated on evolving tax compliance regulations (especially Brazilian and EU mandates) and advise clients accordingly
  • Support post-implementation activities including hypercare, optimizations, and reporting enhancements
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants or client-side resources as needed

Key Skills:

  • 7+ years of total SAP experience, with 4–5 full-cycle DRC or eDocument projects completed
  • Proven track record implementing SAP DRC (including eDocuments, SAF-T, SII, or Nota Fiscal) in Brazil and/or EU countries
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation, NF-e, SPED, and local fiscal obligations
  • Deep functional understanding of SAP FI/CO, with the ability to collaborate across modules (SD/MM/TM)
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries or with multinational clients is a plus
  • Strong configuration and documentation skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or system migrations is a strong advantage
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Fluent in English; Portuguese is highly desirable for Brazil-based candidates
  • Based in Europe or Brazil, with availability for occasional travel depending on project requirements
