Summary: The Senior Engineering Surveyor will play a crucial role in a major highways improvement scheme in the Norfolk region, supporting the Chief Engineering Surveyor and Engineering Survey Manager. This position involves coordinating technical work streams throughout various project stages, ensuring effective survey control and quality adherence. The role requires expertise in engineering surveying and geospatial best practices to guide the engineering survey teams. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing survey teams to meet project needs and providing topographical surveys for engineering works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engineering survey teams to meet project needs.
• Ensure the project has the appropriate survey control network for construction requirements.
• Set out works according to contract requirements before work commences.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on engineering surveying and geospatial best practices.
• Conduct topographical surveys and provide setting out for works, reports, and final survey information.
• Review information with the engineering team to ensure it is sufficient and in the correct format for setting out works.
• Ensure quality adherence in setting out and inspection and test plans.

Key Skills:

• Experience in land surveying or engineering on civil projects.
• Experience working on bridges and structures.
