Summary: The Senior Electronics Engineering Manager will oversee complex electronic sub-systems projects within a world-class defence organization, ensuring timely delivery, cost management, and quality standards. This role involves a hybrid working arrangement, requiring onsite presence two days a week. The position is initially for a 12-month contract, with potential for extension. The successful candidate will play a key role in the project management team, driving the design and development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver complex and priority projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Drive the design, development, and delivery of electronic sub-systems from concept to production.
- Implement project management best practices including risk, stakeholder, compliance, configuration, and earned value management.
- Manage projects through all phases from conception to customer delivery.
- Contribute to the overall delivery strategy of the project management team.
Key Skills:
- Experience in project management best practices.
- Proven track record of delivering significant projects on time and within budget.
- Background in engineering development, particularly with complex systems or electronic units.
- Strong electronics development experience.
- Familiarity with risk management, stakeholder management, and compliance management.
