Summary: We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in CI/CD processes, particularly in AWS and Databricks. The role involves designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing Git repositories, and mentoring junior team members. The position is based in Leeds and requires on-site presence once a week. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation and configuration management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and AWS.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD processes for Databricks.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Manage and optimize monolithic Git repositories.
- Utilize Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform for automation and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
- Ensure best practices and security measures are followed in all CI/CD processes.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in CI/CD practices and technologies.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in CI/CD and DevOps.
- Proven experience in delivering at least two end-to-end CI/CD lifecycles in AWS using GitLab.
