Summary: Stellarmann is seeking a Senior Developer with expertise in C# .NET Core and DevSecOps to work on a long-term project for an Investment Management client. The role involves a balanced focus on development and design/architecture, requiring strong technical skills and a pragmatic approach. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence in London for part of the week. Candidates should have a background in investment management and a commitment to building secure software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver initiatives and greenfield development projects.
- Work 50% on development and 50% on design/architecture.
- Lead improvements to CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security, automation, and deployment efficiency.
- Ensure clean and maintainable code following SOLID principles and TDD.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment.
- Utilize Azure/Azure DevOps/Azure SQL for development and deployment.
- Implement event-driven architecture and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Remediate vulnerabilities and promote a culture of secure software development.
- Communicate effectively and present ideas when necessary.
- Leverage knowledge of Java and Python as needed.
Key Skills:
- Strong design and architecture experience.
- Proficiency in C#/.NET Core (Version 6-9).
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of OO JavaScript; React is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure platform and build pipelines.
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Background in investment management is ideal.
- Exposure to Java and Python (version 3.8) is a plus.

This engagement requires a Senior Developer to work 50% of the time on development & 50% on Design/Architecture to deliver initiatives/greenfield development.
- Senior developer with strong design/architecture experience and flexible in their approach and pragmatic depending on requirements and approach
- C#/.NET Core - Version 6-9 for greenfield development
- APIs - Rest/SOAP
- OO JavaScript - needed/React - nice to have
- Clean and maintainable code/shared libraries/SOLID principles/TDD
- Agile/Scrum/Kanban
- Azure/Azure DevOps/Azure SQL
- Azure platform, build pipelines/security scanning
- Event-driven architecture - Event Bus, Azure Service Bus - nice to have
- IaC/Terraform
- Knows security - culture of building secure software applications, remediates vulnerabilities as an ongoing concern
- DevSecOps Pipeline Enhancements - Lead improvements to CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security, automation, and deployment efficiency.
- Exposure to Java & Python version 3.8 - nice to have
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present if needed.
- Background in the investment management industry/Asset classes etc - ideally
