Summary: The Senior Developer for Core Applications will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enhancements to the Core Tallyman solution. This role requires collaboration with management to understand system requirements and ensure optimal performance of applications. The developer will also mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies. The position is based in Belfast or Solihull and operates within an inside IR35 framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, support, and optimise the Tallyman solution for Fixed Term.
• Support the Tallyman solution on a day-to-day basis to ensure smooth operability.
• Work with line manager to implement changes to existing systems.
• Develop new applications based on technical specifications.
• Evaluate software packages for functionality and fit with internal standards.
• Design system test plans and scripts for comprehensive testing.
• Document all changes in line with agreed documentation standards.
• Deputise for Team Leader in their absence.
• Support and mentor software and trainee developers.

Key Skills:

• Third level qualification in an IT related subject.
• Unidata Fundamentals and experience with Unibasic applications.
• Self-motivated and flexible to business needs.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task effectively.
