Summary: This position is for a Senior Design Engineer who will serve as a Design Approver Signatory on airframe structures, requiring expertise in both metallic and composite aero structures. The role is hybrid, based in Bristol, and is classified as outside IR35. Candidates with high-level security clearance are preferred due to the nature of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- AP1020 delegation
- Design Approver Signatory on Airframe structure - metallic and/or composite aero structures
- Excellent knowledge of Aero structures, Wing, Empennage and Fuselage
- Excellent knowledge of computerized design and analysis methods (CATIA V5)
Key Skills:
- Experience in design approval for airframe structures
- Strong understanding of metallic and composite aero structures
- Proficiency in CATIA V5
- High-level security clearance (preferred)
