Summary: Seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect Lead for a 12-month contract requiring on-site presence in Aldermaston, five days a week. The role demands active DV clearance and involves overseeing information risk management and security architecture for projects. The candidate will lead assessments, provide technical risk analysis, and ensure compliance with security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with functions, projects and the supply chain to assess the sources of Information Risk and make recommendations on how these are to be managed.
- Provide the lead for maintaining awareness of industry best practice in Information Assurance and Information Risk Management.
- Determine how the overall security architecture applies to projects under consideration and advise project solution architects on security requirements.
- Review high and low level solution designs for compliance with overall security architecture, achievement of security requirements and overall efficacy of the security features and tools.
- Oversee IT Health Check and Vulnerability Assessments by approving scope of tests and overall testing programme.
- Provide technical risk assessment analysis.
- Develop the professionalism of Information Risk Management.
- Attend project Security Working Groups and manage when appropriate.
Key Skills:
- Experience of working in highly secure environment (primarily office based).
- Experience of applying security concepts relating to complex enterprise solutions.
- Experience of cloud architecture.
- Previous experience of Security Assurance and Security Architecture.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
- An understanding of how to deliver successfully in a regulated environment.
