Summary: The Senior Automation Engineer role involves designing and specifying safety instrumented systems (SIS) and automation solutions for greenfield and brownfield projects. The position requires extensive experience in automation engineering, particularly in system design and integration, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders and may require offshore surveys as part of their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Design, interface and follow up of ESD, PSD and F&G System as appointed by automation team lead
• Develop SAS Safety system design according to project requirements and at required detail level (FS, Hierarchy design, C&E, FPDS, I/O and HMI sketch input)
• Design and specify SIS solutions that are aligned with existing plant, for integration of SIS systems
• Specification of Global SIS system design through contractual interfaces
• Participation in required multidiscipline reviews
• Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project
• Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and client
• Offshore survey may be required

Key Skills:

• Bachelor or higher
• Minimum 10 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects
• Minimum 6 years’ experience from automation and SIS system design, including experience with brownfield modifications on a SIS system
• Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC
• Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English - both orally and in writing
• FSE-course, valid through the engagement
• Ex-course, valid through the engagement
