Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and acting as a Lead for major projects in the energy sector and other planning applications in Scotland.
- Coordinating and managing multidisciplinary teams on planning and EIA projects.
- Providing competent advice on planning matters and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Leading the production of proposals and tenders, and promoting practice.
- Delivering feasibility studies, environmental reviews, and documentation for internal colleagues.
Key Skills:
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably in Town Planning or related environmental subject.
- Full membership of RTPI or working towards it; membership of IEMA or Chartered Environmentalist is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of the planning process, legislation, and techniques.
- Good understanding of project management, financial management, and quality control.
- Experience in the Energy, Renewables, or Minerals sectors is desirable but not essential.
