Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Environment Agency’s POPs compliance work and deliver environmental objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and advice to the Government and industry stakeholders.
• Design regulatory approaches based on knowledge of waste streams and management techniques.
• Plan and lead evidence studies for chemicals in waste streams.
• Collaborate with Waste and Resources teams to ensure compliance with POPs restrictions.
• Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to influence and promote compliance initiatives.
• Manage travel and international work as required.
