Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure financial and regulatory reporting under IFRS, FX hedging, and treasury management.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller and Administrators to achieve high standards in financial reporting and controls.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business and externally.
  • Assist operating companies in producing timely and accurate financial numbers.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of Fund Administrators, including payments, cash management, FX trades, and regulatory returns.

Key Skills:

  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experience in audit with a Private Equity/Funds client base or fund accounting experience in-house.
  • Experience working in a Fund Administrator.
  • Strong relationship-building and partnership skills.
  • Able to multi-task and adapt to evolving priorities.

Senior Accountant | Renewable Energy & Infrastructure | £75,000 - £85,000 | 9 month Maternity Cover | The City | Hybrid

A leading Investment Manager with over £10bn in assets are looking to welcome a Financial Accountant to their team. The business is going through a financial transformation, and they are looking for someone who can join and raise the bar, as the business will hit key milestones soon. The purpose of this role is to ensure the key commercial drivers are being hit within the Fund. You will be responsible for liaising with and reviewing Fund Administrators work, and then building upon their inputs to enable management to drive growth of the assets, fund and business.

The role

You will be responsible for Financial and Regulatory Reporting under IFRS, FX Hedging and Treasury management, and a whole number of Ad-Hoc tasks for numerous key stakeholders.

Your Role

  • Work with the Financial Controller and Administrators to ensure the financial reporting and controls are achieved to a high standard
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business and externally
  • Ensure operating companies are producing their numbers in a timely and accurate way – assisting/teaching them when required
  • Work within the new funds launched and help establish relationships with recently acquired investments
  • Day-to-day management of Fund Administrators work including payments and cash management, FX trades & hedging, Regulatory returns and financial reporting

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Have either: Audit experience with a Private Equity/Funds client base Fund Accounting experience in-house Worked in a Fund Administrator
  • Have the ability to build good relationships and partner with people
  • Be able to multi-task and not get put off by an evolving priority list

The Financial Accountant is paying £75,000 - £85,000 + bonuses. Other benefits include: 28 days holiday + bank Fully flexible global remote working for a month a year Pension: 8% + up to 5% matched: if you contribute 5% they will contribute 13% 4 days in the office
