Summary: The role of Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher involves working in a dedicated SEN school in Ware, supporting students with various learning difficulties. The position offers three distinct roles, each focusing on different levels of teaching and support, with an emphasis on collaboration with other professionals. Candidates will receive extensive support and development opportunities to enhance their teaching and leadership skills. The roles are full-time and permanent, starting as soon as possible or in April 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop leadership skills to support curriculum and staff development.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver individualized lessons.
  • Provide extensive support through internal observations and meetings with specialist teachers.
  • Work with students aged 2 to 19 with ASD, PMLD, and severe learning difficulties.
  • Ensure lessons cater to each child's unique learning needs as outlined in their Education and Health Care Plans.
