Summary: The Semi-Skilled Electrician role involves assisting with the loading, unloading, and movement of electrical equipment, performing routine testing and inspections, and basic fault-finding on distribution equipment. The position requires adherence to best practices for repair and inspection, as well as monitoring stock control for replacement parts. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the Loading / Unloading and Movement of all equipment associated with Electrical Services.
- Carry out routine Testing and Inspection duties on a wide range of Distribution Equipment, Automatic Mains Failure Units, and Cable.
- Perform basic fault-finding duties on a range of distribution equipment.
- Inspect, test, and repair L.V. cable.
- Follow and adhere to current procedures controlling best practices for repair, testing, and inspection of equipment under the control of Client Electrical Services.
- Monitor and control the use of replacement parts within the in-house stock control system.
- Work independently or collaboratively on tasks with minimal supervision.
