Summary: As a Sector Resilience Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the organisation's FMI resilience maturity by collaborating with various business units to identify vulnerabilities and develop actionable plans. This position requires effective stakeholder engagement and the management of work packages to strengthen operational resilience. You will also provide governance and reporting insights to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The role is hybrid, allowing for a mix of office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with FMI relationship owners and IBS owners to assess vulnerabilities and develop comprehensive resilience plans.
  • Define, structure, and manage the delivery of work packages that address identified resilience gaps.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and ownership of resilience initiatives.
  • Provide clear updates to senior stakeholders, track progress, escalate risks, and contribute to governance forums.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure operationally sound and technically feasible resilience strategies.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in operational resilience, regulatory change, or FMI-related programmes.
  • Proven ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
  • Strong reporting and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Role Description:
"Role Summary:
As a Sector Resilience Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving the organisation's FMI resilience maturity.
This role focuses on working across business units with FMI relationship owners and Important Business Service (IBS) owners to identify and understand internal and external vulnerabilities.
You will translate these insights into structured, actionable plans and oversee the delivery of work packages that strengthen operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
FMI Resilience Planning:
Partner with FMI relationship owners and IBS owners to assess vulnerabilities and develop comprehensive resilience plans that align with regulatory expectations and internal risk frameworks.

Work Package Delivery:
Define, structure, and manage the delivery of work packages that address identified resilience gaps. Ensure timely execution and alignment with strategic objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, from business leads to technical SMEs, to ensure shared understanding and ownership of resilience initiatives.

Governance & Reporting:
Provide clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders. Track progress, escalate risks, and contribute to governance forums with data-driven insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring that resilience strategies are both operationally sound and technically feasible.
