Key Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements from users and convert them to technical specifications.

My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Scrum Master with Data expertise for a 12 month contract requiring 3 days per week on-site in Reading, but offering 2 days per week remote.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in gathering business requirements from users and convert them to technical specifications by building dashboards and reports, translating product vision into specific deliverables and ensure rigor in execution and attention to detail by effectively managing the product backlog.
The ideal candidate will be able to write SQL queries for data analysis and reporting purposes, find data sources and data feeds by data scouting, write SQL queries, stored procedures, views and functions based on the requirements, Build adhoc reports, maintain the existing reports and publish them to the report server, analyze report functionality metrics (Key Performance Indicator (KPI) mapping, standardize formulas, Identify mapping between interfaces and reports), create report traceability Matrix for report development which consists of source to target mapping for ETL and Data Mart creation and Review code and design solutions, provide technical support and technical feedback to the development team and work with QA team daily in fixing the reported bugs/defects.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in facilitating increment & sprint planning sessions, daily scrum, backlog refinement, technical demo, and sprint retrospective meetings, creating and maintain release burn downs, velocity projections and project forecasts to create project visibility and enable timely project adjustments, working on Data & Analytics Initiative by consolidating all activities for Data & Analytics centralized model, performing analysis on collected pain points from business users and map pain points to the reports and key subject area, performing Business Object (BO) report analysis for identifying sources (SQL Query, Facts & Dimensions), creating cross functional flowcharts using Visio that show the relationships between functions (such as a stakeholder or department) and phases (such as milestones) in a process and creating a data flow diagram using Visio.
