Summary: The role of Scrum Master involves facilitating Scrum-related meetings and enabling development teams to adhere to Agile principles over a 6-month contract. The position requires tracking team progress and improving communication within the team and with stakeholders. The Scrum Master will also assist with backlog maintenance and help the team achieve its goals by coaching Agile practices. The role is based in Knutsford, requiring two days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate various Scrum-related meetings such as daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, and demos.
- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.
- Enable development teams to practice Agile principles.
- Assist with backlog maintenance.
- Improve transparency and radiate information through internal and external communication.
- Possess solid knowledge of tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Help the team achieve its goals by teaching and coaching Agile, implementing and supporting Agile principles, and identifying and eliminating impediments.
