Summary: The SCCM Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of assigned projects within the Client Adoption Programme, ensuring effective management of project constraints and client relationships. This role involves managing the full delivery life cycle, from sales-handover to project close-down, while adhering to governance structures. The Project Manager will also focus on continuous improvement of account performance and client satisfaction. This position is based in London with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the assigned projects across the full delivery life cycle; from sales-handover, through inception and delivery through to project close-down.
- Follow the governance structure to maximise delivery assurance and control within the assigned projects.
- Overseeing effective management of the project constraints, including finance, budget, timescale, resource, scope, risk and quality parameters and responsible for progress and other reporting to the customer and Capgemini.
- Manage the overall acceptance process within the assigned projects to ensure deliverables and services are accepted.
- Manage the client relationships within the Adoption programme, track and monitor client satisfaction, developing plans and actions for improvement.
- Owning and managing the ongoing development of the roadmap for Workplace services and pipeline, working closely with internal stakeholders.
- Managing the demand of new scope coming within the portfolio of activities, overseeing creation and submission of proposals and work orders.
- Coordinate the relevant activities to scope new projects and mobilise key resources.
- Evaluating and managing the overall performance of the assigned projects, identifying any key risks or issues, as well as potential ways to improve the delivery of services.
- Working across the project team (that may include near-shore and off-shore roles) to lead, motivate and mentor the team.
- Be part of the project management team and wider account community contributing to the continuous improvement of account performance and engagement for our people and our client.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project delivery life cycle and governance structures.
- Excellent client relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage project constraints effectively, including finance, budget, and resources.
- Experience in leading and mentoring project teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and reporting skills.
- Experience with SCCM and workplace services is preferred.
