Summary: We are looking for a SCADA Tester for a 6-month contract with a leading utilities company, offering a hybrid working model. The role involves ensuring the reliability of SCADA systems, particularly OSII Monarch, through collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position has a strong potential for extension beyond the initial contract period. Candidates should be prepared for a mix of remote work and on-site presence in Warwick.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing to validate the successful transition between Legacy systems and the SCADA environment.
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate system performance.
• Identify, log, and manage risks and issues arising during the testing life cycle in your area of responsibility.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project leads, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Lead defect triage for your ART Team ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged.

Key Skills:

• Previous project experience with Power utility Transmission networks, functional testing, communication testing, and performance testing.
• Exposure to OSI Monarch Testing Utilities, previous experience of SCADA and Real-Time Control and NMS (Network Monitoring Systems).
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to power systems and control systems engineering (e.g., IEC101, IEC104, GI74, IEC 61850, IEEE standards).
• Monitor and report on the progress of test preparation and execution of JIRA/XRAY Tests.
