Summary: The SAP Technical Specialist role involves working with a leading Aerospace organization in Bristol, focusing on the ERP platform team. The position requires expertise in SAP landscapes, business processes, and technical implementation, with responsibilities including change management, incident management, and system administration. Key Responsibilities:

• Setup, run and support Change management and transport processes
• Coordinate / Follow the end-to-end incident management
• Monitoring and configuring the Basis settings, interface creation, DDIC changes
• Administration and Monitoring of HANA landscape
• Administer and maintain the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test and production)
• Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimises risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance
• Understand business processes and technical architecture of SAP landscape
• Define/suggest SAP best practices and Golden Rules

Key Skills:

• Essential SAP development and functional support skills
• Proven consulting background in providing both technical delivery and operations on SAP technology
• Experience in SAP system security parameters and related implementation processes
• Performance Tuning (functional and technical) – ability to analyse and fine tune existing systems
• Knowledge on upgrades within SAP systems
• 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role
• Ability to demonstrate working on projects as well as at an operational level
• Excellent, clear and concise communicator
