Summary: The SAP S/4 HANA Finance Data Expert will join a leading global pharmaceutical company to enhance finance data management through the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA solutions. This role involves coordinating business data requirements and ensuring compliance with data standards during a period of significant digital transformation. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement and is outside IR35, with a competitive daily rate. The expert will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise planning and management reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining and documenting S/4 Enterprise Data Standards.
  • Ensuring readiness of existing SAP data for migration.
  • Supporting the implementation of key data objects such as Profit Centres, Cost Centres, WBS elements, and COPA fields.
  • Engaging with data offices and governance forums to ensure quality and compliance.

Key Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Finance Data, FICO, Controlling, and Process Design.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA, MDG (Master Data Governance), and ServiceNow.
  • Deep understanding of Master Data Management, WBS, and COPA/Margin Analysis.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data concepts into business language.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organisation with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A qualification in accounting and experience in planning and management reporting.

As the SAP S/4 HANA Finance Data Expert, you will play a critical role in coordinating business data requirements and embedding best practice data concepts into the S/4 HANA design process. You'll support the Enterprise Planning and Management Reporting (EP&MR) team, ensuring alignment between business needs and SAP standards.
