Summary: The SAP Functional Consultant will support various SAP projects, focusing on Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM), with additional experience in Finance and Controlling (FICO) being a bonus. This role is critical for maintaining and enhancing the SAP ERP solution and involves leading projects to improve business processes. The position is a fixed-term contract lasting 6-12 months, primarily remote with occasional travel to a Manchester office. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes and support ongoing business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver successful SD & MM project work, changes, and fixes along with support of FICO project work
- Form good working relationships with the business stakeholders
- Improving the current functionality, business process and business as usual activities
Key Skills:
- A wealth of experience within SAP ERP (Specifically in SD and MM modules - additional FICO modules experience ideal)
- Strong Functional/Technical capability within SAP ECC6 with a track record of delivering and supporting functional specifications
- Delivered process-driven change within SAP (P2P and O2C)
- Strong background in finance (accountancy qualified a bonus) and understanding of finance processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills essential
- Experience supporting end-to-end projects

Role: SAP Functional Consultant (SD and MM - FICO a bonus) 6-12 Month FTC (Fixed-Term Contract)
Salary: £70k-£90k DOE
Hybrid role: Predominantly remote with very ad hoc travel to a Manchester office
The Hiring Manager describes this role as: “A critical role to maintain and enhance the SAP ERP solution in relation to Sales and Distribution, Materials Management (O2C & P2P) and significant FICO. You will be supporting the business plans (Annual and Regional) and leading successful projects to enhance the footprint in the areas of the specific modules of expertise.”
