Summary: FDM is seeking an ERP Technical Analyst for a hybrid role in Solihull, focusing on supporting and transforming a complex ERP environment, particularly with SAP systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of robust governance frameworks, owning technical aspects where appropriate
- Enable seamless operations across critical stakeholder platforms
- Advocate for and support the adoption of optimal, innovative ERP solutions
- Contribute to the definition and documentation of ERP technical architecture and strategy
- Maintain up-to-date, high-quality technical documentation and design patterns
- Administer essential control artefacts and strategies related to servers, integrations, and developments
- Contribute to technical aspects of programme and project delivery, including the design, implementation, and assurance of technical components
- Assist with managing technical spend forecasts and tracking technical debt
- Contribute to supplier license optimisation and contract compliance related to ERP systems
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP technical platforms, including architecture, delivery, and support within large enterprise environments
- Broad understanding of SAP functional modules and their interdependencies
- Strong awareness of ERP industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practices
- Experience contributing to transformational SAP programmes and working with both SAP and non-SAP partner technologies
- Proven experience collaborating with outsourced or offshore system integrators for both BAU and project work
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed global environment

This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Solihull. Our client is seeking experienced and detail-oriented ERP Technical Analyst to join their ERP Technical Team. This is a critical role in supporting the operation of a large and complex ERP environment and in shaping their future transformation to new ERP platforms. As an ERP Technical Analyst, you will work closely with the Head of ERP Technical Delivery to ensure the stability, security, and effectiveness of our ERP landscape, with a focus on SAP and related systems.
