Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support an S/4HANA transformation programme. The role involves collaborating with the Chief Architect and development team to translate solution designs into functional deliverables, requiring hands-on configuration experience. The consultant will handle complex FICO tasks beyond the core team's scope and ensure alignment with business processes. This position is contract-based and located in England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional expertise in SAP FICO as part of the S/4HANA implementation.
- Translate architectural direction into detailed solution design and configuration.
- Collaborate with the SI partner during phase one of delivery, advising on best practice and supporting areas requiring deeper SAP knowledge.
- Deliver complex configuration tasks across core FICO components including GL, AP, AR, AA, Cost Centre Accounting, and Internal Orders.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business processes and requirements.
- Support testing, issue resolution, and cutover planning activities.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP FICO configuration experience on S/4HANA programmes.
- Solid understanding of FICO integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PS).
- Comfortable working with architects and developers to clarify requirements and close functional gaps.
- Prior experience working alongside System Integrators, contributing to successful delivery.
- Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving abilities.
