Summary: The SAP FI Revenue Recognition Business Analyst role requires an experienced professional with expertise in SAP FI, particularly in Revenue Recognition, Event-Based Revenue Recognition (EBRR), and Valuated Stock in Transit (VSIT). The position involves bridging business needs with technical solutions, focusing on Sales & Distribution and Accounts Receivable processes. This contract role starts in April and extends through the end of the year, with a majority of remote work and occasional onsite requirements in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to SAP FI Revenue Recognition, focusing on EBRR.
  • Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to drive solutions that align with financial reporting and compliance needs.
  • Support and enhance Sales & Distribution processes including Sales Orders, Deliveries, and Billing.
  • Analyze and provide support for Accounts Receivable processes impacting Revenue Recognition.
  • Deliver expert-level support and configuration for Valuated Stock in Transit (VSIT) scenarios within Sell from Stock flows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment, testing, and successful deployment of SAP features.
  • Participate in or lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing), training sessions, and post-go-live support as needed.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst working with SAP FI.
  • Deep knowledge and recent hands-on experience with Event-Based Revenue Recognition (EBRR) in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong understanding and real-world experience in Valuated Stock in Transit (VSIT) scenarios - Sell from Stock.
  • Expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module processes: Sales Orders, Delivery, Billing.
  • Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes as they relate to Revenue Recognition.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications.
  • Experience with system testing, documentation, and user training.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
