Summary: The SAP Engagement Manager at Capgemini will lead client engagements to transform businesses through the full lifecycle of SAP projects, from pre-sales to delivery. This role involves managing project scope, quality, and client satisfaction while overseeing a high-performing team. The position requires strong communication skills and experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The role is based in Birmingham and offers hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be involved in the sales process to help shape new propositions.
- Manage the handover from the sales to delivery team.
- Deliver against the contract, managing scope, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Provide clear and concise status and project reporting to clients and internally.
- Manage and motivate a high-performing team, supporting their development.
- Manage client relationships at Senior Management level (CxO-1 or above).
- Responsible for delivery governance, managing risks and quality, and achieving financial and delivery KPIs.
- Manage key delivery processes including commercial, financial, and stakeholder management.
- Maintain required Capgemini EM Certification level for the role.
Key Skills:
- Experienced in all aspects of SAP delivery through to early life support.
- Understanding and experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in managing SAP projects across various industries.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience managing large global and distributed teams.
- Enjoy mentoring and developing junior talent and sharing knowledge.
