Summary: The Aircraft Avionics Technical Instructor role involves teaching technical training to multi-national students aged 16-35 in both classroom and aircraft hangar settings in the Wolverhampton area. This ongoing contract requires 37 hours of work per week for 44.4 weeks a year, with responsibilities including lesson preparation and student supervision. The position is classified as inside IR35 due to its public sector nature and requires candidates to have relevant qualifications and experience in the Avionics discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and practical instruction on Avionics and related subjects.
- Prepare lessons and produce training support materials.
- Control and supervise students, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
- Work outside normal hours when required, with time off in lieu.
- Report to the Avionics Training Manager.
Key Skills:
- Recognized apprenticeship or relevant training in Avionics.
- ONC, BTEC, or NVQ qualification in the Avionics Trade Discipline.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in the Avionics field.
- Ability to deliver presentations effectively.
- Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations.
