Summary: The SAP Data Lead Consultant will oversee data migration, governance, and strategy for an SAP S/4HANA implementation focused on Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. The role requires extensive experience in SAP data management and ETL processes, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to S/4HANA. The consultant will collaborate with various stakeholders to define data mappings and validation rules while implementing data quality checks. This position is hybrid, requiring both on-site and remote work, and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data migration, cleansing, and governance frameworks for the SAP S/4HANA program.
• Lead the end-to-end data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) process from Legacy ERP systems to S/4HANA.
• Ensure accurate migration of MRO-related master data (Equipment, Functional Locations, BOMs, Task Lists, Maintenance Plans, Spare Parts, etc.).
• Collaborate with business teams and functional consultants to define data mappings, validation rules, and transformation logic.
• Develop a detailed data cutover strategy for a smooth go-live, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Work closely with IT, Business SMEs, and SAP consultants to align data-related activities with business objectives.
• Implement data quality checks to eliminate duplicates, inconsistencies, and obsolete records.
• Utilize SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP MDG (Master Data Governance), LSMW, LTMC, and BAPI/IDocs for data migration and governance.
• Ensure data migration complies with industry regulations (eg, aviation, defense, manufacturing standards) and security policies.

Key Skills:

• 8+ years in SAP Data Management, Migration, or Governance roles.
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA migration, data conversion, and cutover planning.
• Deep knowledge of MRO processes, asset management, and maintenance planning.
• Proficiency in ETL tools, data extraction, cleansing, and transformation.
• Understanding of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), MM (Materials Management), and EAM (Enterprise Asset Management).
• Familiarity with SAP BODS, LSMW, LTMC, Data Hub, MDG, SQL, and ABAP debugging.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, business users, and leadership teams.
• Knowledge of aerospace, aviation, defense, or manufacturing regulations (if applicable).
