Summary: The Salesforce Technical Architect role involves leading the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions across various clouds and custom applications. The position requires serving as a trusted advisor to clients, overseeing project lifecycles, and mentoring project teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Salesforce solution design and architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.
- Serve as the trusted advisor to clients, understanding business needs and translating them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle — from requirement gathering, solutioning, technical design, to implementation.
- Guide and mentor project teams, including developers, admins, and junior consultants.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with Salesforce best practices and enterprise integration standards.
- Conduct impact analysis and provide recommendations for platform scalability and performance optimization.
- Manage C-level client relationships and present solution roadmaps, progress updates, and strategic insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data, Integration, Security, and Business stakeholders) to ensure cohesive delivery.
- Contribute to pre-sales efforts, including solution demonstrations, RFP responses, and effort estimation.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years in Salesforce consulting/solutioning.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and architecture design.
- Experience with Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience).
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Integration frameworks (REST, SOAP, APIs, Middleware).
- Prior experience leading large-scale Salesforce implementations with distributed teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Salesforce Architect-level certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect) preferred.
- Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies for Salesforce project delivery.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or on the CTA journey preferred.
- Exposure to industry domains such as BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing.
- Strong pre-sales experience, including solution proposals and client workshops.
