Salesforce Lead Developer

Summary: The Salesforce Lead Developer will engage in Salesforce development and technical consultancy on a 6-month contract basis, operating within an inside IR35 framework. The role emphasizes maintaining high code quality, leading development efforts, and defining technical architecture aligned with organizational goals. The position requires hands-on involvement in complex tasks and promoting best practices within the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Salesforce Development / Deployment and Technical consultancy
• Maintain high code quality and enforce coding standards
• Lead hands-on development for critical or complex tasks
• Define technical architecture and strategy for projects
• Promote the use of tools to improve productivity
• Consolidate and implement functional, technical, and methodology knowledge
• Supervise the use of centres and lead integration processes
• Ensure solution alignment with market trends and best practices
• Build, test, and document structural elements of the solution
• Act as an expert point of contact with the client’s equivalent areas
• Define work standards or methodologies adapted to the solution
• Utilize Git version control for CI/CD deployment pipeline
• Use Jira / Confluence or equivalent for workflow and documentation

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior / Lead Salesforce developer
• Experience with public sector projects
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Hands-on development and delivery experience
• Salesforce core configuration skills
• Salesforce Service Cloud configuration experience
• Experience Cloud site building
• Advanced Flow (low code) experience
• Proficient in Apex (pro code) development
• Familiar with custom Lightning Web Component development
• Experience with unmanaged packaging and/or SFDX / Git tracking
