CBRN RN Constable - Police Officer - Remote - Counter Terrorism Policing WM

Summary: The CBRN RN Constable role involves supporting the integration of radiation and nuclear detection equipment into policing for major public events, as well as responding to incidents involving radioactive or nuclear sources. The position requires operational deployment across the UK and collaboration with various partners in the CBRN landscape. Successful candidates will engage in ongoing learning and may be required to travel for operational needs. The role includes a 24/7 on-call duty as part of a rotation with other officers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operationally deploy with radiological and nuclear detection equipment within the National Contest Strategy.
• Work with host Forces to integrate detection architecture into major public events.
• Support the development of bespoke deployment plans for operational activities.
• Volunteer for the NCBRNC Duty Officer On-Call cadre, participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
