Summary: The Salesforce Architect role focuses on designing and delivering Salesforce solutions specifically for the energy sector, with an emphasis on procurement and supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across multiple energy sector initiatives
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to tailor CRM workflows that streamline operations
- Define and enforce Salesforce development standards and best practices
- Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and integration partners to shape technical strategy
- Provide mentorship to technical teams, code reviews, and solution validation
- Ensure all designs support scalability, performance, and security requirements
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience as a Salesforce Architect, ideally with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Lightning components
- Deep domain expertise in the energy sector, particularly in procurement and supply chain management
- Strong technical proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and integration tools (Mulesoft, REST/SOAP APIs)
- Familiarity with CPQ, Field Service, and platform encryption is a plus
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

You'll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering Salesforce solutions that support business-critical processes for our client. This is a hands-on architecture role — ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and can translate business needs into technical solutions. The position is primarily remote, with one day per month required on-site in Birmingham for stakeholder workshops and collaboration.
