Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management and ongoing enhancement of Oracle Financials (Cloud or E-Business Suite).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for finance systems-related queries and issues.
  • Design and write financial reports in Oracle using tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, or FRS.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance and IT teams to ensure accurate system configuration and reporting.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with minimal business disruption.
  • Deliver training and support to finance users across the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Liaise with external vendors and Oracle support where required.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Systems Manager or similar role, specifically within Oracle Financials (Cloud or E-Business Suite).
  • Hands-on experience in report writing using Oracle tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, or FRS is essential.
  • Strong understanding of core finance processes (e.g., AP, AR, GL, FA).
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and finance stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment with the flexibility to be office-based 2–3 days per week.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience in a contract or project-led environment is desirable.

Overview: Stanton House are working with a leading organisation who are looking for an experienced Finance Systems Manager with strong, hands-on Oracle expertise, who will be available on a 12-month fixed-term basis. Based in North Birmingham with hybrid working (2 to 3 days in the office), this role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the finance systems landscape, playing a key part in the ongoing optimisation and support of Oracle Financials. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and development of the Oracle ERP platform across the finance function.
