Summary: The Mental Health Referral Partner role in Coventry is a 6-month fixed-term contract focused on raising awareness of the Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space scheme. Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong partnerships with NHS Trusts, social workers, and other organizations supporting individuals in mental health crisis.
- Proactively identifying and approaching new referral organizations, including cold and warm calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Promoting the scheme through events, networking, and engaging marketing activity.
- Running training sessions and online events to help referral organizations understand and use the service effectively.
- Managing ongoing relationships with key contacts, ensuring regular communication and identifying opportunities for wider referrals.
- Using CRM systems to track referrals and ensure accurate reporting.
- Supporting with the creation of engaging content and materials to raise awareness of the scheme.
Key Skills:
- Experience working within a mental health, NHS, or social care environment.
- Knowledge of Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space and/or the Debt Respite Regulations (or willingness to learn).
- A proven track record of building new relationships and generating leads through networking, events, and social media.
- Confidence in outbound calling and proactive outreach.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
