Summary: This role is for an RPA Blue Prism Developer based in Central Birmingham, focusing on developing and implementing RPA solutions for a leading financial services client. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions using Blue Prism and MS Power Automate. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of being on-site 2 to 4 days a month, and is classified as inside IR35. The contract duration is a minimum of 6 months with potential extensions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions using Blue Prism and MS Power Automate
- Analyse business processes to identify automation opportunities and assess their feasibility
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand process requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for RPA solutions, including process definition documents, solution design documents, and test plans
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of RPA workflows to ensure accuracy and stability
- Deploy and monitor RPA solutions, ensuring their smooth operation and identifying areas for optimization
- Work effectively with stakeholders from different departments to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployed RPA solutions in a timely manner
Key Skills:
- Extensive and recent hands-on RPA software development experience
- Recent Blue Prism experience
- Power Automate experience
- Proficient in configuring new automation using user-friendly tools and documenting automation procedures
- Experience building automation components in accordance with specified business requirements and development quality standards
- Responsibility for the quality and configuration of released objects and build specification documentation
- Strong understanding of RPA principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience in analysing business processes and identifying automation opportunities
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience in developing and testing RPA workflows
- Solid understanding of integration techniques with various enterprise systems
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
